Job Description

We have an opportunity for a Senior Manager to lead our commercial Generics division. Utilising your extensive understanding of the Australian pharmaceutical market and commercial expertise in generic pharmaceuticals or retail generics, you will develop and implement the strategic framework for our expansion into the Australian market and bring to life go-to-market models for our Generics pipeline within the retail channel.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Build the foundation of Teva’s generics presence in the retail pharmacy channel
  • Lead the strategy development and implement a tactical plan defining how Teva can successfully launch and sell generics through various go-to-market models and drive growth through these models
  • Manage and expand relationships with key stakeholders in the retail pharmacy channel to gain insight into opportunities and trends with the various market participants
  • Work in conjunction with the National Retail Channel Manager to align on product and pricing strategies and lead the commercial process for selected products in the retail pharmacy channel
  • Lead and foster collaborative working relationships internally and externally across the organisation and industry with key stakeholders
  • Establish pharmacy channel partners to support various go-to-market models

Qualifications

  • Degree level qualification in Science, Commerce or Business
  • 5+ years commercial experience in the generics Pharmaceutical industry or retail generics, with P&L ownership
  • An extensive understanding of the Australian pharmaceutical market, including in-depth  knowledge of the retail pharmacy channel mechanics 
  • Established networks and relationships with pharmacy channel partners
  • Ability to work cross functionally and collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders and across multiple functions to drive success
  • People leadership experience considered advantageous
