The opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Brand Manager to join our team in Sydney.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the strategic direction and management of key brands within Teva’s portfolio in Australia and New Zealand.
This role is crucial for driving brand growth, market positioning, and ensuring successful product launches and campaigns.
To succeed in this role, you will need strong leadership skills, commercial acumen, experience with forecasting and analytics, launching new products and a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.
How you’ll spend your day
• Develop and implement brand strategies and marketing plans to drive brand performance and market share.
• Lead the planning and execution of brand campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, print, and in-person events.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform brand positioning and identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, medical, regulatory, and finance to align on brand objectives and strategies.
• Manage the brand’s budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and maximizing ROI.
• Oversee new product launches, including go-to-market planning, promotional activities, and performance tracking.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, KOLs, and external partners.
• Monitor and analyse brand performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Ensure all marketing activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry codes of conduct.
Your experience and qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field (Master’s/MBA preferred)
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in brand management or marketing, with a track record of success in the pharmaceutical, life science, healthcare industry
• Hands on position from strategy to execution
• Experience in new product launches and mature brands
• Experience in neurology and psychiatry desirable
• Proven experience in leading brand strategy and managing large-scale marketing campaigns
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of the Australian pharmaceutical market and regulatory environment
• Experience with digital marketing and multichannel strategies is a plus
• Experience in Veeva is desirable
