The Opportunity


We have looking for an enthusiastic, highly dynamic research professional who would like to embark on a promising research career with invested continuous learning and development within the Teva R&D team. This role will conduct research and development activities for therapeutic antibody discovery projects and will be working on a highly network environment.

How You’ll Spend your Day


  • Hands-on laboratory-based role employing the following capabilities:
    • General molecular and protein biology,  including handling and preparation of DNA, protein expression and purification (including antibodies)
    •  Mammalian cell culture, including transient transfection of mammalian cells.
    • Lab Scale Process Development for Protein production and purification.
    • Biochemistry characterisation of large molecules using liquid chromatography, electrophoresis and mass spectrometry based methods.
    • Data analysis and management of large datasets to support data-driven decisions.
    • Supporting the development of in vitro and ex-vivo immunological functional assays and bioassays to evaluate; target binding, cell signalling, immune endpoints, proliferation, cytotoxicity.
    • General lab duties, as required
  • Record keeping and maintaining detailed, accurate laboratory books.
  • Preparation of submission ready documents to support regulatory filings.
  • Complying with all current policies and procedures.
  • Corporate citizenship, including serving on in-house committees.

Your Experiences and Qualifications


  • A BSc in life sciences with a relevant Honours degree. Industry-based Experience is desirable
  • Professional experience:
    • Experience in elements of a) protein production, b) purification and/or c) characterisation
    • Experience with bioinformatics and data analysis is desirable
