The Position


Join our Commercial Generics division and help us build our presence in the retail pharmacy channel, with a range of products across multiple therapeutic areas.  As Pharmacy Account Specialist, and part of our internal sales team, your role will include developing sales plans & strategies, and building relationships with key customers, to achieve sales and business objectives.  At Teva, you will join a passionate, collaborative team, with opportunities to grow and develop your career, in a supportive environment.


Key Responsibilities


  • Promote Teva products as defined by promotional plans.
  • Set objectives to attain call frequency on customers in line with cycle targets.
  • Plan efficient territory coverage utilising continually updated sales and customer data to achieve or exceed agreed sales targets.
  • Build rapport with store management to build and maintain relationships.
  • Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams.
  • Manage and update customer database and CRM.
  • Maintain high level of product knowledge.
  • Prepare reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.

The Successful Candidate


  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with internal & external customers.
  • Experience in customer /territory management or telemarketing.
  • Demonstrated ability with problem solving and negotiation
  • Lifesciences degree and/or direct sales experience in the Pharmacy channel in Australia will be considered advantageous
