The Position

An exciting role has arisen for an ambitious National Sales Manager to lead our CNS portfolio and manage a team of Specialist Representatives.

As the National Sales Manager, you will responsible for delivering sales targets by ensuring successful implementation of brand strategy and customer and activation plans while also maintaining relationships with key customers and relevant Key Opinion Leaders. This is a great opportunity to shape a culture of performance, empowerment, innovation and collaboration not just within your team but also with our Medical and Marketing functions.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Lead and develop the sales team through coaching, training, and performance management.
  • Develop tactical sales plan in line with company objectives to ensure achievement of sales targets.
  • Deliver activity KPI for sales team, and ensure sales team are able to execute sales strategies effectively.
  • Plan, track and manage sales budget.
  • Build on customer relationships and liaise with key customers, hospitals, and buying groups as appropriate to negotiate sales agreement (e.g. tenders).
  • Facilitate sales events and execution of sponsorships.

The successful candidate:


  • Degree in Science related fields
  • 7+ years’ sales management experience in the Australian Pharmaceutical industry, preferably in the specialist/hospital area
  • Proven sales success within the industry
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Good people management skills including coaching and development of employees
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
