The opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Market Access Lead to join our Sydney based Team.

In this pivotal role, you will lead cross functional initiatives to develop, implement and lead market access strategies across Australia and New Zealand. You will also oversee price governance for the ANZ region ensuring alignment with both local and global frameworks.

This role is instrumental in shaping and executing strategic plans that expand access to our innovative and generic therapies and so facilitating patient access.

How you’ll spend your day

•    Develop and implement market access strategies to optimize product availability and reimbursement.
•    Manage and advise on all aspects of pricing.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Government Affairs.
•    Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as payers, healthcare institutions, and regulatory bodies.
•    Lead initiatives to demonstrate the value and outcomes of Teva's products to decision-makers.
•    Monitor and analyse market trends, policy changes, and competitive landscape to inform strategy.
•    Monitor and work with Teva on the Policy landscape understanding the important role of Innovative, generic medicines and R&D.

Your experience and qualifications

•    Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred
•    5+ years of experience in market access, health economics, or related roles within the pharmaceutical industry
•    Strong understanding of the ANZ healthcare system and reimbursement processes
•    Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
•    Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
•    Proven ability to work with and in cross-functional teams or work groups
•    Strong strategic thinker with ability to formulate, develop and execute strategy
•    Strong analytical skills, demonstrated by the ability to identify and understand complex issues and problems, and interpret information in a manner that provides appropriate recommendations to senior management and across functional areas
•    Strong interpersonal skills
