The opportunity

  • Develop and lead the marketing strategy for allocated products, (established and potential launch) in line with company objectives
  • Engage & collaborate with internal & external stakeholders to drive the development and execution of the activation plan

How you’ll spend your day

  • Lead the development of the strategy for the allocated product(s) in collaboration with local and regional stakeholders
  • Lead the cross functional team to execute strategy for the assigned product(s)
  • Implement high quality marketing/business plans within the budgeting time-line
  • Generate profitable growth for allocated product(s)
  • Where relevant, manage distribution partners to achieve best possible go-to-market strategy and maximise Teva’s market share. This includes setting-up and maintaining 3rd party Agreement(s)
  • Work with external agencies to design and execute high quality promotional programs
  • Create promotional activities across different channels, including digital ones. This includes the organisation of major customer events across specialty products
  • Produce and deliver promotional materials to required company timelines
  • Ensure promotional materials comply with the Medicines Australia Code of Conduct or the Therapeutic Goods Advertising Code
  • Effectively communicate objectives, key strategies and product messages to the sales team
  • Understand customer needs, market issues and opportunities through market analysis and formal market research
  • Provide analysis of sales & market data on a monthly basis (or as required)
  • Evaluate product performance based on agreed KPIs
  • Accurately forecast stock requirements for all products in the portfolio
  • Manage the promotional expense budget
  • Strengthen relationships with KOLs and Associations relevant for the disease state
  • Manage relationship with key customers, both internal and external, including local, regional and global teams, advertising, PR and medical communications agencies, KOLs, and selected customers
  • Where relevant, conduct Business Development activities by evaluating and realising external business opportunities

Your experience and qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in science or marketing
  • 3+ years' experience in Brand Management in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry in Australia
  • Experience in lifecycle management and new product launches
  • Ability to develop simple business cases, patient model and forecast
  • Working knowledge of industry data sources
  • Understanding of Digital and Multi-Channel Marketing
  • Sales experience in pharmaceutical industry desirable
  • Knowledge of Veeva and Marketing Cloud preferred
