We Are Teva
Our Team, Your Impact
Join a collaborative and innovative scientific team at the forefront of therapeutic antibody discovery as an Associate Director, Discovery Biology (Immunology). This position is a senior individual contributor role providing deep scientific and translational expertise to support early target identification and evaluation for therapeutic antibody programs.
This Discovery embedded, scientific assessment role sits at the interface of immunology, human physiology, and drug development. The position is ideally suited to a highly analytical scientist who enjoys deep interrogation of literature, patents, and clinical data, and who excels at synthesizing complex information into clear, evidence‑based recommendations for early pipeline decision‑making.
You will have a strong science foundation, plus relevant drug development experience and will provide scientific leadership in immunology, with a focus on inflammation, autoimmunity and neuroinflammation, and provide recommendations on target selection as part of Teva’s early innovative medicine pipeline.
How You’ll Spend Your Day
As a key member of our Teva’s Biologics Discovery team you will play a vital role in early-stage biologics R&D. Your responsibilities will include
- Provide deep subject‑matter expertise in immunology, spanning fundamental immune biology, disease mechanisms, and human relevance
- Identify and evaluate target–indication pairs aligned with Teva’s therapeutic strategy, and provide expert advisory input on biology, clinical rationale, antibody modality considerations, differentiation and risk mitigation strategies
- Independently lead deep biological assessments of immunology targets, integrating disease biology, pre-clinical and clinical data, and competitive landscape from a drug development perspective
- Apply whole‑body and drug-development‑focused judgement (e.g. target distribution, safety risk, dosing feasibility, PK/PD considerations) to assess technical, translational and development risk early
- Generate high-quality information packages suitable for transition to cross‑functional teams (including business development) as part of project progression, strategy and decision-making
