Job Description

Position Snapshot:

  • Create new hire accounts & update employee training records
  • Manage all course deployments (creating, testing and assigning)
  • Provide technical support to end users and perform troubleshooting activities
  • Maintain data integrity of LMS by managing and updating LMS, as required 
  • Provide compliance reports to Site Management (monthly, pre-audit, audit, ad-hoc, etc.)
  • Provides backup support to the Technical Training Specialist as required
  • Perform system testing, as required and manage any system upgrades
  • Conduct Learning Group reviews with Department Manager, as per biennial schedule
  • Prepare on-boarding package (as applicable) for new hires and/or cross-trained employees
  • Coordinate new hire on-boarding; schedule and conduct LMS/KT demonstration, prepare on-boarding package, manage GMP signature process
  • Schedule, communicate and coordinate site training Support department with site training programs and initiative

Qualifications

  • Post-Secondary diploma or degree
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in Training & Development preferred
  • Excellent organization, prioritization and problem solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Knowledge of databases, in particular Learning Management Systems
  • Understanding of adult learning principles and methodologies preferred
  • Experience using authoring tools, in particular, Captivate an asset
