We are looking for qualified and motivated candidate for the role of Technical Program Manager – Digital Delivery, based in Sofia.

The role


We are seeking for an innovative technical program manager (TPM) to work within the IT digital delivery group as part of the IT Digital Platforms unit. This role is for a direct hire/permanent role. The primary functions will be to plan and manage cross channels delivery projects within all platforms streams internal and external mainly in the areas of collaboration and commercial channels including new technologies. The role is aim to drive the harmonization and technical enterprise integration of the Digital delivery solutions as part of the digital platforms landscape. The TPM should work very closely with deeply technical people and at the same time manage the roadmap and often non-technical stakeholders to ensure teams are on track.

Main Responsibilities


• Lead end to end cross channel projects often involve new technologies and/or heavy integration 
• Responsible for the deployment and integration of new products.
• Design the technical roadmap for the Digital Delivery group within the Digital platforms landscape in collaboration with the Delivery Leads and Development & Operation manager 
• Ensure the design and guidelines principles are followed, and oversee the implementation of new tools and platforms
• Manage new tools implementation and adoption including hands-on POC's management
• Coordinate technical activities across multidisciplinary teams located in different time zones
• Guide teams on development standards, automation, and tools
• Work in migration strategies to move applications to modern architectures - micro services approach.
• Ensure that infrastructure and deliverables are aligned with security requirements
• Be responsible for identifying technical resources and delegating tasks to meet project deliverables and architecture definition
• Be the technical voice with the delivery unit
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand technical road blockers and operational needs
• Assist teams in defining and applying best practices for integrations, APIs, and Tooling (Goals/Strategy/Governance)
• Be responsible for creating and maintaining internal technical documentation up-to-date and attending validation sessions within architecture and delivery boards
• Keeping up with advancements in platforms technologies and related tools


Main Requirements


• 10+ years' experience in the software development area including:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences, Software Engineering, Technology Management, Business Management, or similar
• Architect large-scale distributed systems including Web (.Net based frameworks), Mobile (native, cross and hybrid), using a combination of on-premises and cloud services – A Must.
• Experience with modern web and mobile technologies using JS frameworks such as (ReactJS, Typescript, Material UI, GraphQL, NodeJS, Web Sockets, etc.)
• Hands-on and proven experience implementing decoupled and scalable architectures using Micro services, APIs, event-driven, server less, and containers
• Designing, developing, and deploying services and API Strategy for internal and/or external consumption
• Working in a DevOps model
• Be technology agnostic and able to work across different layers of the architecture and across distinct technologies
• Strong experience in data modelling and information structure design. Good understanding and implementation experience on Schema Definition, GraphQL Data Types. Define the vision, strategy, and initial standards and principles for data management.
• Explores, evaluates, recommends, and acts as the lead subject matter in emerging technology trends and proof-of-concept efforts, experience with GraphDB, AI/ML, Blockchain is an advantage
• Able to envision the best long-term design, taking into account short-term tactical trade-offs
• Solid knowledge of Security Standards such as OAuth, OpenID, JWT, OWASP, among others - an advantage
• Advanced knowledge of the full life-cycle of software development
• Extensive experience in software product engineering, deployment, and integration.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presenting information to upper management levels. Ability to communicate both with the development teams and business owners
• Strong interdisciplinary skills - understand and traverse technical dependencies, work very closely with deeply technical people and at the same time manages the roadmap and often non-technical stakeholders to ensure teams are on track.
• Strong leadership skills and extensive experience in technical program management
