We are looking for qualified and motivated candidate for the role of Senior SAP BASIS Consultant, based in Sofia.
 

The Position

Expert with broad and deep technical expertise across multiple domains, best practices, and technologies, to deliver enterprise & cloud level core application infrastructure and security services.

Key Responsibilities

•    Contribute to establish a data factory to design, build and maintain a technological platform
•    Collect and monitor requirements for Data conversion and Data Quality programs
•    Responsibility for planning, coordinating, and executing company application infrastructure processes end to the end
•    Responsibility to deliver the technical operation activities for the SAP Enterprise deployments
•    Deep analysis of application business processes, system data, and error logs, along with user reports, to determine infrastructure related issues 
•    Develop IT policies and procedures to ensure Infrastructure and Application effectioned operations 
•    Support application solutions and functionalities related to equipment and infrastructure services
•    Coordinate and monitor Infrastructure related services delivery by 3rd parties 
•    Assist in architectural & design processes
•    Responsibility to deliver infrastructure changes according to IT compliance change control guidelines
•   Review, support and endorse infrastructure architecture, infrastructure resource planning, infrastructure performance and system hosting environment focusing on Hardware Infrastructure, Operating Systems, Virtualization, Storage and Backup to support the application platforms 
•    Identify opportunities to optimise infrastructure services to achieve standardisation and reduce operations overheads
•    Support the technical activities for migration of Enterprise SAP systems to Cloud
•    Identifying, developing, implementing and maintaining information security processes across the applications to reduce risks and ensure application platform are secured against security threats
•    Close working relationships with management, company peers and industry counterparts to ensure alignment of company goals with current information security industry and regulatory trends
•    Leading the technical deployment roadmap of Identity and Access Management Platform Tools
•    Responsibility for establish, maintain, and execute infrastructure disaster recovery plans, recovery procedures, and understand their interdependencies
•    Work with the IT and Business stakeholders to ensure that disaster recovery solutions are adequate, in place, maintained, and tested as part of the regular operational life cycle
•    Responsibility for managing software licensing to eliminate waste and increase efficiency by making the best use of existing IT asset

Main Requirements

•    Bachelor degree or equivalent
•    At least 7 years of relevant working experience in SAP BASIS -  designing, deploying, and managing enterprise services
•    At least 5 years of proven experience in a leadership role for Global organizations
•    Excellent technical knowledge of application infrastructure and secuirty technologies
•    Experience with multiple SAP products, OS platforms, and databases preferred (although no specific combination is required)
•    Experience performing monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning of SAP environments
•    Experience performing SAP technical projects such as Migrations, installations or upgrades
•    HANA and S/4 proven experience 
•    Exposure to managing SAP on public clouds such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft (Azure)
•    Ability to analyse and review complex technical issues and provide appropriate recommendations
•    Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to customers in a timely manner
•    Experience with coordinating and participating in structured project
•    General understanding of IT infrastructure, virtualization methods, and backup technologies preferred
•    Proactive and dedicated with strong leadership and multi-tasking capabilities skills
•    Ability to lead cross-organizational global processes
•    Proven experience in project management for global organizations 
•    Excellent communication skills 
•    Fluent English – writing, reading and speaking
