Our Team, Your Impact
The Senior Director, IT – Global Procurement is a strategic leadership role responsible for shaping, governing, and executing the IT vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Global Procurement organization. This role serves as the primary IT stakeholder manager to global Procurement leadership, ensuring that technology solutions enable business strategy, operational excellence, scalability, and innovation.
The role owns end-to-end IT accountability for Procurement across demand management, investment prioritization, solution strategy, delivery oversight, and service performance. Acting as the senior escalation point, the position ensures high business satisfaction and strong alignment between business priorities and IT execution.
This leader works in close partnership with TGO IT teams, IT delivery organizations, service and support teams, and infrastructure functions to ensure seamless, high-quality, and cost-effective IT services worldwide.
How You’ll Spend Your Day
- Lead and continuously evolve the Global Procurement IT strategy and multi year roadmap, translating business priorities into actionable digital capabilities and investments.
- Drive technology innovation and act as a trusted advisor to senior Procurement leadership, guiding decisions on emerging technologies and digital transformation.
- Oversee strategic IT demand, portfolio governance, and prioritization for Global Procurement, ensuring initiatives align with business value, risk, ROI, and resource capacity.
- Manage the full IT financial landscape, including budgeting (AOP, LRP), cost optimization, and maintaining financial transparency.
- Oversee successful delivery and deployment of IT solutions, ensuring quality, timelines, and expected business outcomes across all delivery models.
- Drive cross functional coordination, removing barriers and resolving dependencies to enable smooth execution.
- Define and oversee IT support strategy and service levels, ensuring stable, secure, and reliable operations with strong user experience and business continuity.
- Act as the senior escalation point for critical Procurement impacting IT issues, ensuring swift resolution and operational stability.
- Serve as the primary IT partner to Global Procurement, building strong cross functional relationships across IT and fostering a culture of partnership, accountability, and shared success.
Your Skills and Experience
- Proven strategic leadership experience, including developing and evolving multi year IT strategies and roadmaps aligned to business priorities.
- Strong capability in IT demand, portfolio, and investment management, with experience prioritizing initiatives based on value, risk, ROI, and resource capacity.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee end to end IT delivery, ensuring quality, timely execution, and realization of business benefits across cross functional teams.
- Expertise in IT service management, including defining support strategies, ensuring stable and secure operations, and managing high severity escalations.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner with senior leaders and build strong relationships across IT, Procurement, and enterprise functions.
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies and digital transformation, with the ability to advise executives and drive innovation in a business context.
- Willingness to travel.
