We are searching for qualified and motivated candidates for the role of Production Coordinator, who would like to join to the Global Artwork Studio team, based in Sofia.
 

The Role

 

This position is based in Sofia. Its main purpose is to inspect and dispatch accurate artwork files according to required specifications and deadlines. Manage the files and statuses through the Artwork Design portal, and liaise with relevant colleagues and suppliers as necessary. The position has direct reporting to Global Artwork Studio QC Team Leader.

 

Main duties and responsibilities:

 

• Co-ordinates the inspection and dispatch of artwork files to ensure they are complete and ready for printing according to the printers specifications.
• Summarizes data for the Quality Management System.
• Checks approved native artwork files against predefined Global Artwork Quality Measures prior to dispatch to suppliers.
• Ensures artwork files are print-ready and resolves issues found during checking
• Monitors trends in technical errors and trains/ re-trains artwork technicians as necessary. Develops their technical, design and print knowledge.
• Responds to queries from internal / external personnel regarding AW files.
• Follows approved artwork procedures in all activities both within Studio and with external parties.
• Addressing/investigating issues found within files during checking and resolving
• Amending, checking and pre-flighting artwork files to suppliers within agreed timelines
• Supports Artwork Team in improving technical, design and print knowledge
• Offering technical advice and ensuring all artwork is achievable within print production constraints
 

Successful candidates should have:

 

• University Degree or equivalent in graphic/visual arts or print
• Experienced computer user
• Extensive experience of using Adobe Creative Suite for artwork and prepress
• Good communication skills
• Experience of working to deadlines
• Knowledge of artwork, pre-press and repro procedures
• Proven experience of artwork creation and manipulation to a high standard
• Proficient verbal and written English communication skills
• Experience with Pharmaceutical packaging artwork creation/ within Pharma environment is considered as an advantage.
• Copy checking/Proof reading skills would be considered as an advantages
