We are looking for qualified and motivated candidate for the role of Graphics Specialist (Artwork Management Team), based in Sofia.
The opportunity
The AMT Graphics Specialist position is a mid-level Graphic Artist position responsible for creation and production of precise, complete, and press-ready labeling and packaging components for US marketed products, while ensuring adherence to federal regulations to meet deadline driven production schedules and support inter-department labeling needs.
How you’ll spend your day
- With little or no direct supervision utilizing appropriate hardware and software, incorporates Teva design standards, Regulatory CFR requirements and FDA recommendations for pharmaceutical labeling into the creation of print-ready electronic artwork for the most complex projects.
- Ensures artwork is created correctly and is technical sound to avoid printing issues. Maintains a Right First Time Quality rating of 95% or better.
- Resolves complex artwork creation issues and is responsible for the modification or creation of the most complex artwork.
- Continually assesses processes and makes recommendations to improve efficiencies, increase quality and reduce turnaround time.
- Uploads completed artwork into the Artwork Management System and launches the appropriate approval workflow. Following artwork approvals, collects and transfers artwork and essential support files for distribution internally / externally to print suppliers.
- Proactively anticipates potential issues that may arise and proactively initiates discussion with appropriate personnel to generate solutions promptly to support the completion of labeling artwork according to the established production schedule.
- Assists management in the development of Teva Labeling Guidelines/Manuals and training of team members.
- Assists with training and oversight of Associate l Graphic Artists and new hires to ensure compliance with all departmental and company SOPs, directives, and guidelines.
Your experience and qualifications
- Equivalent Degree in Graphics Production or related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in production art or related field; multicolor printing from conception to completion; Mac OS platform; proficient with Adobe Creative Suite software; Pharmaceutical labeling, digital prepress or printing knowledge; artwork preflight; understanding of basic layout principles, design concepts, schematics and printer specs.
- PC platform familiarity, Place-It/CSAT digital print software.
- Advanced knowledge of printing processes and prepress standards for artwork file design/development.
- Proficiency in industry standard software applications (Adobe Creative Suites, MS Office).
- Excellent level in English - reading, writing, speaking.
