About the Role

 

As a Data Author, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating master data in line with defined standards and governance rules. Working closely with functional teams, you will help ensure reliable data inputs that enable smooth operations, reporting, and analytics across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Create, update, and maintain master data records in accordance with defined data standards and governance policies
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data across relevant systems
  • Collaborate with functional and cross functional teams to collect and validate data inputs
  • Support data quality initiatives, including identifying inconsistencies and participating in data cleansing activities
  • Provide reliable, structured data to support reporting and dashboard preparation
  • Identify and escalate data issues or anomalies to data stewards or relevant stakeholders

Your Profile

 

  • University degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in a scientific or business-related field
  • Very good written and spoken English
  • Understanding of master data standards, business rules, and data governance principles
  • Basic knowledge of business processes, ideally within a supply chain environment
  • Experience with enterprise data entry systems (e.g. ERP, MDM platforms)
  • Strong analytical skills to support data validation, reporting, and mass data changes
  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy
  • Good time management and self organization skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, cross functional team
