We are looking for motivated and solution-oriented candidate for the position of External Manufacturing Project Expert / Project Manager, based in Sofia.
 

 

The opportunity

 

Hiring for this role will be done at an External Manufacturing Project Expert or Project Manager level, depending on the experience of the selected candidate.


Projects are most often Technical Transfers to External Suppliers, Complex Material Changes, BD and R&D Launches, as well other complex projects with critical business impact which require strong PM support.

 

External Manufacturing Project Expert / Project Manager ensures that projects are executed in line with the milestones and budget, acts pro-active and timely on changes that affect the completion of the project. The External Manufacturing Project Expert / Project Manager sets priorities, manages the project team, identifies risks, ensures continues supply and business operations and full compliance of the project with GMP, GxP and Teva standards.

 

All External Manufacturing projects require skills to act in a matrix organization, with a focus on external parties in the EMEA region

 

How you’ll spend your day

 

•    Prepares project plan, including set of deliverables, milestones and activities from both parties, ensures alignment on these deliverables and the allocated budget for these
•    Responsible for stakeholder engagement and feedback provision, risk assessment and mitigation planning
•    Leads a cross-functional project team and ensures they all deliver according to the agreed plan and timelines; present projects status on a regular basis to Teva Senior management, escalates when needed to the project sponsor and suggests alternative solutions
•    Supports negotiations of service agreements, to agree between parties on deliverables, timelines and costs
•    Drives or supports process improvement initiatives related to the
•    Supports sourcing plan and supplier evaluation process for new project as required
•    Demonstrates appropriate communication to all project stakeholders (internally and externally)
 

 

Your experience and qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in life science/technical sciences and/or MBA
  • Experience and proven track record in a project manager or program manager role in industrial, chemical or pharmaceutical industry
  • Broad knowledge and hands on experience with Project Management principles and tools
  • Experience and knowledge of pharmaceutical specifics like GMP, GxP, changes control, quality, manufacturing process, RA landscape
  • Experience in managing projects within the pharmaceutical industry, particularly site transfers and product launches, will be considered a key advantage.
  • Previous experience involving interaction with CMOs (Contract Manufacturing Organizations) will be considered a plus.
    Fluency in English
  • Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills
  • Strong Goal orientation, Ability to adapt quickly to changing environment and priorities,
