In Bulgaria, we are the largest employer in the pharmaceutical industry with near 1700 employees in the two manufacturing plants (Dupnitsa and Troyan); sales and marketing organization and in a number of global corporate functions based in our country. After the acquisition of Actavis by Teva Pharmaceuticals, in Bulgaria we are operating under the Teva brand.   


We are looking for qualified and motivated candidate for the role Associate Director Launch & Product Change Management EMSO EU, located in Sofia (Bulgaria)  or in Ulm (Germany).

Main responsibilities


•    Manages a team of Project/ Launch Managers
•    Responsible for the full spectrum of standard people management activities: recruitment, onboarding, development, coaching, performance management
•    Holds full accountability for on time execution and operational launch readiness for all launch projects assigned to the EMSO EMEA team
•    Operationally acts as a Project/ Launch Manager for certain allocated projects (25-30% of the time)
•    Ensures effective cross-functional alignment with internal and external stakeholders;
•    Acts as interface function between the markets, suppliers, and further major stakeholders
•    Promotes collaborative atmosphere within the launch team and cross-functionally
•    Acts as escalation point for all issues during the launch phase and facilitates timely issue resolution with respective decision-makers across Matrix organization
•    Maintains high quality customer service internally and externally and demonstrates network thinking
•    Implements and maintains robust metrics and KPIs tracking related to launch management; prepares relevant performance reports
•    Chairs regular forums for launch review (operational and strategic) with key Teva stakeholders
•    Performs effective resource allocation to ensure business priorities are met and launch team has balanced workload
•    Ensures robust and well documented launch processes is in place and takes care of its continuous improvement
•    Coordinates In-licensing Due Diligence process within the EMSO EMEA and cross-functionally
•    Ensures launch team is updating fully, correctly and timely all relevant corporate data bases
•    Ensures launch team is executing a compliant supply, providing full visibility and proactive information on launch projects

Main requirements


•    University Degree - preferably scientific or business management discipline
•    5+ years Pharmaceutical experience in a GxP environment in one of the following functional areas: Launch management, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Supply chain, etc), preferably in an international business environment
•    Solid Project management experience
•    Proved people management/ Leadership experience
•    Experience working in a Matrix organization
•    Proven track record of leading continuous improvement initiatives

•    Excellent English language skills- both verbal and written
