In  August 2016 Actavis has been acquired by Teva Pharmaceutical. In Bulgaria we are the largest employer in the pharmaceutical industry with near 1700 employees in the two manufacturing plants (Dupnitsa and Troyan); sales and marketing organization and in a number of global corporate functions based in our country. As a Teva company, in October 2020 Actavis has started the process of re-branding and anticipating the Teva brand.

 

We are looking for a motivated and solution-oriented candidate for the position of Third Party Operations Senior Project Manager, based in Sofia.
 

About the role

 

The Senior Project Manager ensures that projects are executed in line with the milestones and budget, acts pro-active and timely on changes and variations that affect the completion of the project. The Senior Project Manager sets priorities, manages the project team, stays within budget and meets customer satisfaction by delivering the project on time.

All Third Party Operations (TPO) projects require skills to act in a matrix organization, with a focus on external parties in the EU region.
 

Main Responsibilities

 

•    Prepares project plan, including set of deliverables, milestones and activities from both parties, ensures alignment on these deliverables and the allocated budget for these
•    Holds stage gate review meetings, responsible for stakeholder engagement and feedback provision, risk assessment and mitigation planning
•    Works according to the agreed plan and timelines, escalates when needed to the line manager and suggests alternative solutions
•    Supports negotiations of service agreements, to agree between parties on deliverables, timelines and costs
•    Monitors all project related timelines, activities, budget adherence and present these on a regular basis to Teva Senior management
•    Supports sourcing plan and supplier evaluation process for new project
•    Demonstrates appropriate communication to all project stakeholders (internally and externally)
 

Main Requirements

 

•    Bachelor or Master Degree in technical sciences and/or MBA
•    Experience and proven track record in a project manager or program manager role in industrial, chemical or pharmaceutical industry
•    Ideally PMI Accredited - Project Management Professional qualification
•    Experience and knowledge of pharmaceutical specifics like GMP, changes control, manufacturing process, RA landscape
•    Skills and specific knowledge required 
•    Fluency in English
•    Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills
•    Team player
