Position Summary


The Medical Advisor will be responsible for providing medical leadership and support for compounds in late stage regulatory approvals and approved products in Singapore, Vietnam and Malaysia.

This is a hybrid role dedicated to formulating the medical strategy and plan while also spending 50% of your time in the field. You will be the medical subject matter expert for commercial and other functions and will represent the country in medical affairs regional/global discussions. This role is also responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with country External Experts (EEs) in support of key medical objectives.

Specific Responsibilities


  • Execution of overall medical strategy for Teva’s brands including selection, pre-launch and launch activities, and the post-launch phase.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional Brand Team, and with Medical Affairs teams in the region.
  • Provide therapy area and product specific training to appropriate office and field based Teva personnel.
  • Support local clinical development, if applicable, with input on target product profile, health economics and outcomes research needs and lifecycle management.
  • Ensure proper information distribution, documentation & promotional materials for marketed products in compliance with corporate standards and government/industry regulations.
  • Serve as an internal/external subject matter expert for product and disease related content to product labelling and Pharmacovigilance teams.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage collaborative relationships with External Experts (EEs).
  • Provide legitimate and balanced scientific support to HCPs who act as speakers at Teva sponsored meetings.
  • Provide relevant medical and scientific support, including medical education presentations, for healthcare professionals.
  • Professionally represent Teva at select medical meetings and programs.
  • Assist clinical development in identifying potential investigators and sites for company sponsored clinical trials; support clinical trials, and investigator management as required in collaboration with clinical operations/clinical research.



  • A Medical degree or a postgraduate science degree
  • At least 3 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in medical affairs, with prior experience as an MSL/Medical Advisor or Medical Manager
  • Experience in neurology would be advantageous
  • Experience with SG Healthcare system
  • Extensive experience in working collaboratively with commercial teams
  • An established track record of effective and influential oral presentations for the healthcare professionals
  • Ability to analyze scientific literature and synthesize complex scientific information and communicate it effectively at a peer to peer level with HCPs
  • Knowledge, ability and willingness to engage with customers using traditional as well as novel digital channels
  • Excellent communication skills with written and verbal fluency in English
  • A self-starter with hands-on approach and a strong ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Team oriented with strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate and interface effectively with management, other departments, key opinion leaders and health authorities
  • Demonstrated ability to network & develop relationships within industry and academia
  • Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment on multiple projects
