Key Responsibilities

  • Understand Singapore healthcare policy/marketing trends in 5-10 years and its impact on portfolio strategy

  • Understand TA strengths and disease standard of care and emerging treatment options both globally and locally by identifying attractive molecules for Singapore in key TAs.

  • Develop and update portfolio strategy and TA specific strategy

  • Set criteria and develop a rational for Teva product pipeline selection

  • Portfolio management including product selection, new product launch, and life cycle management

  • Develop business cases and align with global, regional and local stakeholders on the forecasting approach for Singapore

  • Accurately forecast stock requirements for all products in the portfolio

Technical Competencies

  • Market and Customer Insights: Demonstrates knowledge of customer needs, behaviors and goals, as well as market dynamics, competitor and regulatory landscape.

  • Product Knowledge: Demonstrates knowledge of Teva’s therapeutic areas and products including the different stages of a product lifecycle and how to manage a brand portfolio.
  • Brand Strategy: Defines the strategic vision of a product or group of products and develops long and short term brand strategies based on Teva’s business strategy, financial analysis, and market intelligence which gets translated into a comprehensive brand plan.
  • Payer and Channel Strategy: Applies knowledge of the healthcare environment, payer decision-making processes, and distribution channels to appropriately demonstrate value to customers while optimizing the access and touchpoints of Teva’s products.
  • Portfolio Management: Creates, manages and analyzes the health of a portfolio by using a data-driven approach in order to evaluate, select and priorities products launches and find areas of opportunity in the market where a brand or sub-brand can be positioned.
  • Launch Excellence: Ensures effectiveness execution of tactics and activities that are rooted in the brand strategy and resonate with customers, while looking for opportunities to improve and quickly address market penetration opportunities.
  • Financial Acumen: Understands and applies business and financial knowledge through a data-driven approach in order to make sound business decisions that drive value for Teva and its customers.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor degree in applicable discipline (Marketing, Pharmaceutical Sciences, etc.) is preferable.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Marketing/Product Management role at an MNC pharmaceutical company

  • Around 5-8 years of combined industry experience. Field experience in Pharmaceuticals is preferred.

  • Experience managing broad and complex product portfolios preferred.

  • Experience in selling across multiple therapeutic areas.  

  • Proficient in English

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Good networking with healthcare professionals and others

  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret market information

  • Good knowledge of pharmaceutical industry and regulations
