The opportunity

Teva Pharmaceuticals is seeking a highly motivated and scientifically driven Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our Medical Affairs team. The MSL will serve as a field-based scientific expert responsible for establishing and maintaining peer-to-peer relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals (HCPs), and other stakeholders. This role supports the medical strategy and provides deep clinical and scientific insights to both internal and external partners.

How you’ll spend your day

  • Serve as a trusted scientific resource to KOLs and HCPs in the assigned therapeutic area(s).
  • Communicate complex scientific data in a clear and balanced manner.
  • Support the development and implementation of local medical plans aligned with global strategy.
  • Identify clinical practice trends, treatment patterns, and emerging data relevant to the field.
  • Facilitate advisory board meetings, Journal clubs, speaker training, and medical education initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, Commercial, and Regulatory teams.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and SOPs.

Your experience and qualifications

  • Advanced scientific degree (MD, PhD, MSc, PharmD) is required; relevant clinical or scientific background is essential.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a field-based medical or scientific role, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Deep understanding of clinical research, medical literature, and drug development processes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (and Hebrew, as applicable).
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience in the therapeutic area; neurology or psychiatry, is an advantage

Additional Information:

  • This is a field-based position 90% with regular travel to healthcare institutions and stakeholders across the north-central region.
  • The position is formally based at Teva’s Shoham site, but the candidate is expected to work remotely most of the time.
