The opportunity

The role serves as a key support function in the field of international shipping and procurement for all R&D laboratories and in the daily operations of the Human Resources department.

How you’ll spend your day

International Shipping:
• Centralizing, managing, and coordinating international shipments (import and export).
• Opening shipping orders in the system and managing shipment files from initiation to closure.
• Working with shipping companies, regulatory authorities (Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Parks Authority, etc.), customs, suppliers, and internal clients (laboratories).
• Ensuring compliance with legal requirements, regulations, import/export standards, and customs guidelines.
• Monitoring shipments and updating business units on transport status.
• Handling real-time issues—delays or irregularities.
• Daily work with ERP systems and shipping software.
• Collaborating with headquarters departments (Legal and Procurement).

 

Laboratory Procurement:
• Managing and leading global procurement processes for business units (laboratories).
• Negotiating with global suppliers and leading contract processes and cost reductions.
• Sourcing new suppliers and continuously evaluating existing suppliers according to required standards.
• Ongoing work with internal interfaces—QA, EHS, Engineering, Maintenance, Regulatory Affairs, R&D, and headquarters (Legal and Global Procurement).
• Ensuring compliance with global regulatory requirements (FDA, GMP, etc.).
• Analyzing procurement reports, KPIs, and performance, and generating reports for management.

 

Support Activities in Human Resources:
• Welfare operations.
• Supporting employee onboarding, transfers, and termination processes.
• Managing procurement activities and invoice approvals.
• Coordinating medical examinations.
• Preparing monthly presentations.
• Handling bereavement cases.
• Supporting logistics and operations around trainings and events.

Your experience and qualifications

• Certification in International Shipping—mandatory.
• Academic degree—mandatory (advantage for Economics / Business Administration / Industrial Engineering & Management).
• Previous experience in an administrative role—mandatory.
• High proficiency in English—speaking, reading, and writing—mandatory.
• Familiarity with Incoterms concepts.
• Full proficiency in ERP SAP and Office applications, with emphasis on PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Proficiency in procurement and invoice systems—advantage.
• Experience in international laboratory procurement—advantage.
• Ability to work independently with high-level organization and order.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with multiple interfaces.
