The opportunity
Build and execute Teva's Israel-focused open innovation strategy for driving technology deal flow and creating ecosystem relationships for Teva Rise's new Pilot Hub in Israel. This includes driving high-quality deal flow aligned across Teva’s tech sectors of interest corresponding to a variety of BUs (e.g. Health tech, industry 4.0, Digital Health, Data & AI), cultivate relationships with tech ecosystem innovation leaders (e.g., VCs/CVCs/accelerators), and position RISE as a preferred corporate partner for pilots and collaborations. Additionally, the role holds responsibility for managing Teva Rise’s internal deal flow process with Business Units (BUs) - ensuring advancement of opportunities.
How you’ll spend your day
- Ecosystem Leadership: build and maintain senior-level relationships across the tech ecosystem with VCs, accelerators and innovation players; act as RISE’s point-of-contact for fund partners.
- Technology deal flow: continuously source startups/technologies;
- Partnership Enablement: co-create win–win collaboration frames with tech players across the Israeli ecosystem.
- Visibility & Positioning: represent RISE in ecosystem events/meetups.
- Deal flow internal management and support: track the internal deal flow processes with Teva’s BUs, ensuring each opportunity progresses, and provide support if needed to support evaluation processes.
Your experience and qualifications
- 5-7 years in technology deal flow generation, VC/CVC, accelerator programs, open innovation or ecosystem-facing roles.
- Credible “fund fluency”: familiarity with VC/CVC mechanics (thesis, stages, committees, co-investments, portfolio support).
- Network in the Israeli tech ecosystem and the ability to open doors - health tech experience an advantage.
- Experience in tech ecosystem strategy building and execution.
- Corporate experience – an advantage.
- Ability to evaluate early-stage technologies and articulate fit to business challenges.
- Excellent relationship-building and executive communication skills (Hebrew & English).
- Proactive, independent, organized, hands-on; comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and opportunities; strong analytical capabilities
