Our Team, Your Impact
The Alliance Manager at Teva is responsible for managing and nurturing strategic partnerships and alliances to drive mutual business success.
This role serves as the primary liaison within the Teva organization with functional stakeholders and externally between Teva and its partners, ensuring effective communication, governance, and performance management of core partnership projects.
This role will be the interface with several alliance partners, to ensure coordination at local and global level, and value creation by the different functional experts and operational units, both within Teva and with the Alliance partners.
This role will collaborate with the portfolio and business development team to help articulate the Teva China pipeline and corporate strategy.
How you’ll spend your day
Activities required to ensure effective management of a portfolio or pipeline products that continue to have Teva and/or partner contractual obligations, as well as future alliances as may be assigned, including but not limited to:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for alliance partners and cross-functional stakeholders, fostering strong, collaborative relationships and ensuring effective communication internal and external of the organization. Facilitate a collaborative work environment between parties, resolving issues, building consensus, and fostering trust.
- Manage contractual obligations, Coordinate and align activities across local and global teams to maximize value creation. Ensure compliance in collaboration with Legal, Compliance, Commercial Operations, RA, and R&D.
- Oversee alliance governance, ensuring internal alignment of Teva committee members and effective decision-making. Brief Teva management on alliance results, manage escalations, and prepare for discussions with partner management. Identify and mitigate risks related to contracts and potential conflicts.
- Monitor alliance performance through periodic assessments and reporting.
- Collaborate with business development teams to identify and evaluate new partnership opportunities.
Your Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in alliance or partnership management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain effective relationships
- Ability to manage conflicts and negotiate solutions
- Knowledge of contract management and compliance requirements
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including Legal, Commercial, and R&D
- Strong organizational and governance skills
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
