Job Description

  • Create & implement strategic plan for product portfolio in alignment with Teva China's Strategy
  • Understand China  healthcare reform and policy/market trends in 5-10 years and its impact on portfolio strategy.
  • Understand TA trends and disease standard of care and emerging treatment options both globally and locally 
  • Set criteria and develop a rational for Teva Product pipeline selection.
  • Identifying attractive products to launch in the China market in the coming 2-5 years.
  • Portfolio management including product selection, new product launch, and life cycle management.
  • Direct & monitor the organisation of all pre-launch activities for new products
  • In collaboration with the BD Team provide business case suppot to evaluate  BD opportunities within the China market
  • Develop robust business cases with both short & longterm forecasts to support product selections
  • Manage and foster collaborative internal working relationships across global, regional and local functions (Prortfolio, Regulatory, Legal, Supply Chain etc.), to support China selections, submissions & approvals
  • Manage and foster collaborative external working relationships across the industry with key stakeholders to support China selections.
  • Ensure alignment with sales & marketing with launch plans for new products

Qualifications

  • Excellent planning & organizational skills
  • Good people management skills including coaching & development of employees
  • Demonstrates the ability to establish good working relationships at all levels of the company both domestically and globally
  • Demonstrated ability to handle competing priorities effectively
  • Operational Efficiency: Drive for Results, Planning
  • Demonstrates good written and oral communication skills as well as the ability to present ideas articulately.
  • Excellent communication skills with written and verbal fluency in English.
  • Teamwork / collaboration and ability to work effectively with numerous interfaces
  • Commercial business experience in marketing, portfolio management or business development.
  • Degree in a science and/or business related discipline
  • Minimum 8 years China Pharmaceutical industry experience.
  • Good knowledge of pharma sector trends, customer landscape and competitor trends and actions
  • Good finance/forecasting capabilities
  • Results oriented and entrepreneurial
  • Possess a high level of business ethics, integrity and professionalism
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment
