Job Description

The Associate Director of Value, Evidence and Outcomes Operations (VEO, Associate Director) is a role reporting into US Medical Affairs, Director of VEO. The VEO AD is responsible for working closely with Field Medical Affairs Teams, US Medical Directors, Market Access/Marketing, Brand Marketing Teams and Global Health Economics and Outcomes Research (GHEOR). This individual will collaborate with internal Teva teams and external vendors to develop resources and execute strategies that integrate US Payer landscape dynamics, health economics, real world evidence (RWE) and US market access solutions for assigned therapeutic areas.

Duties and responsibilities include:


  • Plan, create and deliver resources to facilitate field team engagements to demonstrate the value, evidence and outcomes of select Teva products to payers, healthcare providers, patients, and policy makers
  • Provide field insights to cross-functional teams to improve engagement strategies and barriers to access for TEVA products.
  • Proactively identify and solve gaps in product value communication, identify innovative methods to communicate key product attributes. 
  • Drive the development, execution and approval of key resources for field team utilization. 
  • Lead the development of customer facing resources as identified by VEO Director e.g. value proposition decks, Budget Impact Model (customer facing), that provided the customer-facing team with approved materials that support Medical and Market Access objectives.
  • Manage all aspects of medical resource development including conception, design, vendor oversight, approval process (PARC/MLR), training, certification and ongoing management of resources.
  • Responsible for triage of resources through the medical/legal/regulatory review process that requires cross functional communication and collaboration.
  • Strong collaboration with internal cross functional experts (e.g., GHEOR, MSLs, MOLs) to leverage functional expertise and deliverables to adapt or develop tools that meet the US market needs and internal TEVA standards for external communication.
  • Collaborate with internal & external stakeholders to deliver results aligned to Market Access and medical strategy.
  • Be accountable for the development, management and tracking of goals and objectives.


  • Master’s degree in Health Outcomes, Health Economics, Epidemiology, Pharmacy, health or sciences related field; MS, PharmD. or PhD preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry; PBM/Health Plan experience a plus
  • Significant experience in health outcomes or life sciences.
  • Strong technical knowledge in key areas including economic modeling and observational studies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of US payer landscape, formulary decision-making process, and the ability to develop evidence communication strategies that will meet decision maker’s needs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively influence in a matrix team environment.
  • Understanding of pricing and reimbursement across multiple sites of care
  • Sound organizational and project management skills, which focus on delivery of results.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with both internal and external teams
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive for achieving high performance and goals
