The opportunity

The Head of Commercial Supply Chain for Teva Chile is accountable for leading end-to-end (E2E) supply chain operations — including demand planning, supply, warehousing, and logistics — for Teva’s in-line and pipeline product portfolio including Other LATAM. This role plays a strategic part as a key member of CL Leadership team and business partner for all operational issues to ensure reliable product availability, improving service levels, optimizing inventory, and supporting cost-effective operations, while aligning with Teva Chile’s Commercial Strategy and Teva’s global supply chain roadmap

How you’ll spend your day

  • E2E Supply Chain Execution: Ensure end-to-end (E2E) demand planning, supply, warehousing, and logistics for Teva Chile’s in-line and pipeline portfolio to secure supply and product availability from the local production site and imported products in alignment with Chile’s Commercial Strategy and global standards.
  • Forecasting & Inventory Optimization: Drive forecasting accuracy and demand planning excellence through close collaboration with Commercial, Finance, and Global Supply Chain teams. Lead initiatives to optimize inventory levels and replenishment cycles.
  • Cost Management & Budget Oversight: Own and manage the local supply chain and logistics cost base. Lead budget planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure fiscal responsibility and cost efficiency.
  • 3PL & Logistics Partner Management: Oversee the selection, performance, and continuous improvement of third-party logistics providers (3PLs). Ensure service levels and contractual obligations are met through robust KPI monitoring.
  • KPI & Operational Excellence: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) across all supply chain functions. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, agility, and service quality.
  • External Supplier Management: Collaborate closely with the Import Hub to ensure a reliable, efficient, and agile supply chain for imported products.
  • Strategic Leadership & Alignment: Develop and implement a best-in-class local supply chain strategy aligned with Teva Chile's Commercial goals and the broader LATAM cluster and Global Supply Chain strategy.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Commercial, Regulatory, Quality, Finance, and Global Supply Chain teams to ensure integrated planning and responsive execution.

Your experience and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in supply chain management, with significant leadership responsibilities in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
  • Strong knowledge of demand planning, inventory control, S&OP processes, and logistics
  • Proven ability to manage complex supply networks and external partners
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing supply chain budgets
  • Fluent in Spanish; English proficiency required
