Job Description
- Develop, maintain, and manage collaborative interactions with External Experts (EEs) and other healthcare professionals in therapeutic areas of interest to Teva
- Develop and demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of Teva, its products, current medical and scientific research and publications in therapeutic areas of interest to Teva
- Provide relevant medical and scientific support for healthcare providers, for third-party payers and other managed care audiences, and for internal cross-functional partners (e.g. sales training, advisory boards, marketing-led initiatives, medical teams etc.)
- Deliver high quality medical education presentations in a variety of settings (e.g., formulary committees, medical meetings, and allied healthcare professionals) and obtain feedback that can be disseminated throughout the organization
- Develop strategic EE plans to provide needs-based, value-added services
- Provide and communicate relevant medical and scientific information (within corporate guidelines) for healthcare provider education
- Respond to requests for medical information and/or unsolicited off-label questions in a scientific, fair-balanced, compliant manner
- Gather and communicate feedback on Teva products and gather competitive intelligence from multiple sources
- Professionally represent Teva at select medical meetings and programs; use appropriate, ethical judgment in the distribution of all information, whether written or verbal
- Complete accurate and timely administrative reports, projects, and other required documentation and complete other duties as assigned
- Integrate equipment with the Product Managers of the assigned therapeutic areas, giving medical-scientific support at a strategic and tactical level, and contributing in the elaboration of the marketing plans.
- Participate in making strategic decisions in their area and in their implementation, taking into account global, regional and local product strategies.
Qualifications
- University degree in health careers such as Chemistry and Medicine.
- Experience of at least 6 months
- Possess advanced Level in English
- Desirable Experience in oncology, respiratory, ophthalmology, HIV.
