Maintenance Manager

Main responsibilities


•Ensures maintenance of all electrical systems and machinery controls throughout the site.
•Provides direct supervision to all electricians working on site in support of the plant operations, making sure that personnel with the appropriate skills is available as per the established maintenance and activities plan.
•Oversees, tests, adjusts the electrical equipment and system, including new installation and improvements.
•Supports the maintenance team on all electrical aspects of new equipment installation and commissioning.
•Utilizes reliable troubleshooting methods and improves preventive and predictive maintenance methods and systems to reduce unscheduled downtime and cost increase.
•Assign jobs and activities to mechanics on site, creating proper schedule.
•Trains and maintains updated the electricians crews to guarantee their preparation and effectiveness on site.
•Establishes and maintains good communication, cooperation and coordination with other departments – primary production - ensuring that plans and programs duly progress in line with business expectations and constrains.


•At least 5 years of electrical and controls experience in a manufacturing environment, with an understanding of industrial electrical components.
•Good understanding of manufacturing processes, preferably chemical and pharmaceutical production.
•Ability to read and understand electrical power and control system schemes.

Essential requirements:
•Quality Management System knowledge (GMP, GDP, Data Integrity) and duly application in all activities performed.
•Knowledge of Environment, Health and Safety principles and applicable main EHS local regulations.
•Full compliance with TEVA Ethic Code and Values.
•Electrical High School degree – Degree in Electricity Engineering is preferable.     
•Fluent English.

•IT systems familiarity.
