Job Description

Teva Pharmaceuticals is looking to fill a Supply Chain Analyst I role in Salt Lake City, Utah. This position is responsible to ensure production materials are planned and procured to meet the production schedule. The Buyer/Planner works with procurement personnel to maintain supplier relationships and supplier performance.


Responsibilities & Duties:


All areas of responsibility listed below are essential to the satisfactory performance of this position by any incumbents with reasonable accommodation if necessary. Any non-essential functions are assumed to be included in other related duties or assignments.

• Responsible for reviewing and analyzing the Material Requirements Plan (MRP) on a weekly basis and releasing purchase order requisitions or adjust purchase order deliveries as needed to meet the production schedule over the appropriate planning horizon.
• Responsible for working with receiving personnel to coordinate in-bound raw material shipments and with Quality Assurance/Quality Control personnel to ensure timely release of raw materials to meet production schedules.
• Responsible to work closely with Procurement personnel to maintain ethical supplier relationships, supplier contractual agreements and supplier performance.
• Responsible for providing raw material forecast data to Procurement personnel and suppliers.
• Responsible for working closely with Procurement personnel to maintain material planning and supplier master data in the ERP system.
• Responsible for analyzing raw material lead times, safety stock levels, and inventory turns to maintain raw material inventories at levels consistent with company objectives to support production requirements while optimizing inventory investment.
• Responsible to participate as an active member of the Material Review Board and provide analysis and information as required
• Responsible for completing all training requirements and maintaining 100% compliance with all assignments.  
• Responsible for maintaining work areas and performing job functions in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Batch Record instructions.
• Computer proficiency with comprehensive working knowledge of MS Office products, Learning Management Systems (LMS), ERP system such as SAP or Oracle and manufacturing/quality systems such as Trackwise and Qdocs.
• Strong knowledge and skills in MS Word and Excel.


Required Qualifications:

• Requires Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education & experience.
• Requires minimum of 3 years of material planning experience in a manufacturing environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

• APICS certification preferred.
