The opportunity
This position is responsible for administering and operating the site warehouses, including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment. Also accounts for all materials and supplies in the warehouse; audits goods received, oversees receipt, storage and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures. Prepares and coordinates schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space. Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment. Ensures that employees have the tools, resources and training needed to perform work in compliance with all regulatory requirements, company policies and procedures.

- Responsible for the daily management and development of direct and indirect reports on multiple shifts while maintaining a productive and efficient work environment.
- Responsible for timely and secure receipt, storage and transfer of materials.
- Responsible for managing the inventory of raw materials, packaging components and released finished goods in an organized and timely manner.
- Responsible for conducting cycle counting and physical inventory as required.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with DEA regulations for inventory control, customs procedures and export documentation.
- Responsible for the coordination and execution of domestic and international shipments.
- Responsible for executing assigned continuous improvement initiatives
- Responsible for writing, reviewing and/or approving Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, etc. as required.
- Responsible for supporting and assisting with investigations and initiating resolution as needed.
- Responsible for completing all training requirements and maintaining compliance with all assignments.
- Responsible for maintaining work areas and performing job functions in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Batch Record instructions.
- Responsible for performing additional related duties as assigned.
Your experience and qualifications
Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.
Education/Certification/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education/experience with a minimum of 6 years relevant progressive experience, preferably in a supply chain or logistics environment.
- Requires minimum 3 years experience managing exempt and non-exempt employees in a manufacturing or warehousing environment.
- Knowledge of DEA regulations, customs procedures and export documentation strongly preferred.
- Project management and advanced presentation skills preferred.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Computer proficiency with comprehensive working knowledge of MS Office products, Learning Management Systems (LMS), ERP system such as SAP or Oracle and manufacturing/quality systems such as Trackwise and Qdocs.
- Self-directed with ability to organize and prioritize work.
- Ability to motivate, influence and lead others with and/or without direct supervisory authority.
- Ability to positively manage conflict, provide difficult feedback and negotiate resolution.
