Teva has an opportunity for a passionate lab analyst to join our team. As a key part of our dedicated, friendly, and collaborative Product Quality Team, you’ll play an essential role in laboratory testing of pharmaceutical product in support of commercial product release. This role is great role to learn the pharmaceutical manufacturing process. Many of our entry level lab analysts advance into other roles in Science, Quality and Production.
How You’ll Spend Your Day
- Working in a laboratory environment, you’ll be conducting more complex testing on different drug substances for commercial product release and/or new product launches
- Document and analyze testing results in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Environment.
- Review results with your peers for completion, compliance and accuracy
- In addition to working with Laboratory staff and peers, you’ll liaise with a number of stakeholders groups: Quality Assurance, Engineering, Quality Compliance and Systems, and others as necessary.
- You’ll be working in a laboratory environment so you’ll be wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and may need to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Responsible for executing projects of a limited to moderate scope as assigned.
- Responsible for completing all training requirements and maintaining 100% compliance with all assignments.
- Responsible for maintaining work areas and performing job functions in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Batch Record instructions.
- Responsible for performing additional related duties as assigned.

- Responsible for providing training to other analysts on activities for which they have developed a level of expertise.
Your Skills and Experience
In addition to being a team player, excellent time management skills and a real passion to make a difference, the following will see you excel in this role:
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Chemistry or Microbiology, with a minimum of one to two years relevant progressive experience in a Quality Control Laboratory environment.
- Excellent working knowledge of basic scientific principles and experience managing experiments preferred
- Working knowledge of cGMP, DEA and other applicable industry regulatory requirements as they relate to the production of pharmaceutical products and associated quality systems preferred.
- Prefer experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (Labware LIMS and/or Empower preferred).
