At Teva Runcorn, we develop, manufacture and market innovative and affordable medicines, specialising in sterile liquid products mainly used for treating respiratory conditions using Blow-Fill-Seal technology as well as injectable Combination Products such as our MS treatment Copaxone. In addition, we are currently preparing to add to our existing technology platform with the introduction of biopharmaceutical products to the site.

 

We are also home to two R&D centres and a Sterile Training Academy— a centre of excellence within Teva for sterile manufacturing, safety and compliance training.

A Day in the life of a Scientist

  • To provide support to the development of new products (Solutions, Emulsion, Suspension formulations including sterile inhalation and ophthalmic products) within the Development Team
  • To perform and document laboratory work/experiments and contribute to performance improvements ensuring project milestones are achieved within agreed timescales and in compliance with cGMP, HSE, Regulatory and customer requirements
  • To perform work packages to execute transfer of technology of new products to the Runcorn Site Receiving Teams to enable on time new product launches

Who We Are Looking For

Do you have?

  • A degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacy or a related subject
  • Previous experience of working in a Pharmaceutical Lab (although, not essential)
  • Knowledge of Analytical development
  • Knowledge of Process development and Analytical support
  • Knowledge and Application of Analytical Techniques, Method Development and Validation

  • A team player and able to work effectively with peers
  • Analytical and have strong problem solving skills
  • A confident communicator and able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
