At Teva Runcorn, we develop, manufacture and market innovative and affordable medicines, specialising in sterile liquid products mainly used for treating respiratory conditions using Blow-Fill-Seal technology as well as injectable Combination Products. Job Description

To provide knowledge and assistance in the oversight of the Validation and Sterilisation activities for the Teva Runcorn site.


Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide expert review and approval of validation documentation; ensuring adherence to standards and applicable regulatory requirements and practices.

  • Ensure the validation of manufacturing and sterilisation systems, filling machines, cleanrooms and packaging equipment meets the required standards.

  • Oversight of and the timely completion of the requisite tests to maintain the sterilizers within compliance.

  • Responsible for thermal qualification, requalification and verification of manufacturing, sterilisation systems, filling machines and controlled environmental spaces adheres to Teva standards and applicable regulatory requirements and practices.

  • Provide opinion and consultation for practical problem resolution.

Who We Are Looking For

Do you have:

  • A Degree in an Engineering or Science discipline

  • Experience in pharmaceutical industry or a similarly highly regulated sterile manufacturing environment

  • All of the following are essential skills required for this position... sterilisation theory and practices, pharmaceutical microbiology and manufacturing controls, qualification and validation practices, international standards for sterilisation control and industry guidance application and best practices

  • Practical experience of the Validation ‘V-Model’ would be desirable

  • Ideally experience with microbiological testing processes
