At Teva Runcorn, we develop, manufacture and market innovative and affordable medicines, specialising in sterile liquid products mainly used for treating respiratory conditions using Blow-Fill-Seal technology as well as injectable Combination Products such as our MS treatment Copaxone.


We are also home to two R&D centres and a Sterile Training Academy— a centre of excellence within Teva for sterile manufacturing, safety and compliance training.

A Day In The Life Of A R&D Project Leader

Within this position you'll be at the forefront of exciting Sterile development projects including combination products, long acting injectables and ophthalmic products with a regularly changing regulatory landscape. The role also allows you to work alongside likeminded employees across the Teva global network.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading a cross-functional project team to develop and execute development strategy for new projects
  • Ensure a high level of team effectiveness through appropriate management and leadership of team activities

  • Establish a positive and collaborative environment that contributes to the creation of a high performing team

  • Work within a team to identify, manage, and communicate project related risks

  • Communicate project progress and emerging issues to the respective governance committees, then leading the team to develop and present integrated recommendations for resolution

  • Ensure that operational and resource issues identified are being addressed by the functional areas or governance bodies

Who Are We Looking For?

Do you have?

  • MrSc degree in pharmacy, chemistry, biotechnology, biomedical/ bioscience engineering

  • Career experience in pharmaceutical industry is essential

  • Project management experience is desirable

  • Drug product development experience is essential

  • Experience in regulatory affairs would also be beneficial

  • Fluent English speaking and writing skills
