We are currently recruiting a Senior Device Engineer to join our Engineering Department in Runcorn on a Full Time, Permanent basis.

 

In this role, the Senior Device Engineer will work with our internal functions to ensure drug-device combination products are manufactured robustly, and meet customer requirements. In addition, the incumbent will collaborate with local and international Teva R&D sites to support ongoing commercial manufacture of in-line products and development and launch of new products for multiple device-based drug delivery systems.

A Day in the life of a Senior Device Engineer

  • Serve as technical leader for device manufacturing equipment, support device investigation and implementation of key process optimization for device automation projects form initial from initiation to final hand over to Operation
  • Work closely with vendors and contractors to develop a reliability program for filling and device assembly lines to ensure line robustness and reduce downtime
  • Take a lead in execution of IQ/OQ/PQ of device assembly equipment including drafting or review of protocols and qualification reports
  • Manage and liaise with all contractors and vendors directly involved with equipment modification and automation projects
  • Work with project leaders and team members to ensure proper DFx for commercialization of new products
  • Actively participate in creation and review of risk management documents

Who We Are Looking For

Do You Have?

  • A degree in a Science, Engineering or Technical field
  • Proven and extensive experience working in the Medical Devices and/or combination products field with working experience of relevant GMP Quality systems and related requirements
  • FMEA/Risk analysis experience
  • Medical Device/Combination product industrial and/or design control experience

 

Are You?

  • Knowledgable of pharmaceutical regulations in 21 CFR Part 210/211/600
  • Able to interface with colleagues at all levels of the organization, as well as professional interfaces with regulatory agencies
  • Adaptable and can effectively cope with change
  • A strong influencer and able to challenge
