We are currently recruiting a number of Packaging Technicians to join the Blow Fill Seal team in Runcorn on a Full Time, Permanent basis to work on a range of shift patterns (includes nights and weekends).
The purpose of the Packaging Technician role is to pack, set-up, operate, monitor and improve automated packing equipment used for the packing of blow-fill-seal nebules.
Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure all equipment is operating at agreed standards - Monitor equipment performance, fault find and make appropriate adjustments
- Assist, where appropriate in basic equipment maintenance - As instructed by the Engineering team
- Adhere to Health and Safety procedures and good working practices to minimise accidents/incidents
- Perform Packaging operational duties, eg line clearance, IPC checks, replace components on line, complete batch & associated documentation
- Ensure good housekeeping standards within packaging area(s) are achieved in accordance with cGMP
- Ensure any instances of non conformance are communicated to the area leader, Manager or QA representatives to ensure that they are investigated and rectified using company procedures
Who We Are Looking For
Do you have:
- A degree in an engineering based discipline
- Strong technical and problem solving skills that can be applied to pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Good attention to detail
Are you:
- A good communicator and self starter
- Able to set and deliver high performance standards for self and team members
- Able to work as part of an operations team
