Job Description
We are currently recruiting a Senior MS&T Project Manager with a strong technical background to lead, coordinate and implement the Technical Transfer of new products for commercial Manufacture at the Runcorn site.
Key Responsibilities:
- To act as technical expert in leading and coordinating the introduction of new biological and pharmaceutical products to site, both via Global R&D development and Global inter site product transfer routes.
- To take a hands on lead in the development of new processes and improvement of existing processes for the manufacture of sterile products.
- Develop and support the processes required for assembly of combination products in a range of different device types.
- To align manage and maintain the relevant corporate standards, policies and procedures for the effective introduction of new products and processes.
- To define, implement & resource MS&T and Technical Transfer projects, ensuring timelines and budgets are defined and adhered to.
- Lead and matrix manage multiple project teams including R&D, QC, QA and Operations team members to deliver effective robust manufacturing, filling, packaging and device assembly processes.
- To ensure all projects are carried out in accordance with the Runcorn project management system - identifying project team member roles, responsibilities, and key project management deliverables.
- To ensure the compliance of project qualification documentation from PQ onwards in support of new Product Introductions and Technical Transfers to the Runcorn site.
- To develop manage and maintain service level agreements with Operational teams and ensure ongoing product reproducibility and robustness as part of the continuous verification process in line with MS&T requirements.
- To ensure compliance of MS&T to all cGMP/HSE/Engineering standards to meet regulatory requirements.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Minimum degree level qualification in biological sciences
- Extensive experience in a technical or scientific role within a steriles fill finish manufacturing environment
- Strong technical aptitude in manufacture of complex steriles, new product introduction lifecycle and regulatory requirements
- Strong Project Management experience is preferred
- Experience leading or managing a team
- A good working knowledge of engineering principles
- Self-starter, lateral thinker, excellent planning and organisational skills, good communicator and ability to influence at all levels.
