At Teva Runcorn, we develop, manufacture and market innovative and affordable medicines, specialising in sterile liquid products mainly used for treating respiratory conditions using Blow-Fill-Seal technology as well as injectable Combination Products such as our MS treatment Copaxone.
The Opportunity
Providing data through microbiological testing regimes, from which confidence in the sterility of the finished product can be founded. In addition, offering technical support to production on microbiological/hygiene and contamination control issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Different Microbiological tests of in-process samples, Raw materials and finished product
- Environmental monitoring of Clean Rooms
- Documentation completed and reviewed in real time. Use of Microbiological data base (eg LIMS) to record results
- Work within a team to ensure tasks are completed in a fast paced Laboratory, as coordinated by Seniors and Team Leader
- Lab support activities such as Media QC, Bacterial Identification and Use of Autoclave
- All tasks supporting Sterility Assurance of Products and Medicines
Who We Are Looking For
Do you have?
- A degree qualification within a relevant science based discipline
- Career experience within the pharmaceutical industry would be desirable
- Experience with Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel etc
Are You?
- Able to communicate both orally and in the written format to personnel at all levels
- Someone that understands the need for quality with a keen eye for detail

Working Pattern
7 shifts across 2 week period. 6am-6pm shifts.
