At Teva Runcorn, we develop, manufacture and market innovative and affordable medicines, specialising in sterile liquid products mainly used for treating respiratory conditions using Blow-Fill-Seal technology as well as injectable Combination Products such as our MS treatment Copaxone.

 

We are also home to two R&D centres and a Sterile Training Academy— a centre of excellence within Teva for sterile manufacturing, safety and compliance training.

A day in the life of an IT Systems Specialist

As an IT Systems Specialist you will manage and support validated Manufacturing and LAB systems including the implementation, maintenance and use for the Runcorn site in accordance with site operations, quality & IT strategies and project plans.

 

You will provide technical support and maintain consistent configuration, implementation, operation and support of the Manufacturing/LAB Applications and Platforms including:

 

  • Implementing new releases and setting up standards for operational management
  • Implementing new developments and changes in accordance with CSV standards
  • Configuring and managing Development, Validation and Production environments on relevant systems.
  • Ensuring compliance with Data Integrity requirements for all Manufacturing/LAB Systems
  • Administer and maintain support services
  • Managing incidents, problems, changes and releases to Laboratory/Production systems with external vendor support where necessary
  • Coordinating, testing and administering application security
  • Complying with internal CSV/QA standards and provides support to internal and third party audits such as FDA, MHRA

Who We Are Looking For

Do you have?

  • A degree qualification in a computer related subject and/or relevant experience
  • Experience working in a highly regulated industry
  • Experience working in or along-side Manufacturing/LAB systems - preferable
  • Strong hands-on technical skills, operational background, and working experience with infrastructure technologies and business applications
  • Project management skills

  • Highly self-motivated, adaptable and resilient
  • Commercially aware and understand the operational and financial impliacations of decisions taken
  • Familiar with Lean/Process improvement concepts
