Job Description

We are currently recruiting an Equipment Technical Specialist to join the Quality Control department in Runcorn

 

The Equipment Technical Specialist will provide technical and scientific expertise to the department to ensure robust documentation, procedural processes and measures are in order to achieve customer service targets. 

 

The role will also include quality leadership, problem solving, study leadership and co-ordination/management of the laboratory activities to achieve departmental goals in agreed timelines - maintaining cGMP, H&S, Regulatory and Customer requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • To comply with company policies, procedures and standards, cGMP, cGLP, H&S, Regulatory and Customer requirements.
  • To Plan, design, and co-ordinate (project lead) laboratory based projects
  • To generate, update & implement documentation including SOP’s, analytical docs, IQ/OQ protocols, quality reports, etc
  • To contribute to the review, improvement and introduction of laboratory processes and systems to support continuous improvement.
  • To support completion of NCR/CAPA closeouts via tracking log (trackwise) and to support completion of rolling review ensuring target of zero is adhered to.
  • To communicate effectively within Quality Control and across other departments to ensure continuity of activities.

Who We Are Looking For

Do You Have?

  • A degree in Chemistry and significant experience of analytical chemistry and equipment validation
  • Specialist knowledge in a number of the following areas; CSV, Data Integrity, HPLC systems and troubleshooting experience, LIMS, Statistical techniques, GC, , particle analysis,
  • Significant project management/support experience with proven ability to plan resources and manage priorities to consistently deliver on time against tight project timelines.
  • High level of problem solving skills and able to use a range of structured tools to complement background knowledge.
