Job Description

In this role, you will manage Laboratory operations. This role includes working with scientists to optimize work environment, placement of people and equipment, manage equipment maintenance, ordering and stocking supplies, interfacing with company Procurement and Accounts Payable, maintaining EH &S standards and possibly (depending on background) helping maintain IT infrastructure.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating with lab personnel and vendors for installation and maintenance of lab equipment
  • Working with experienced Environmental Health & Safety professional to ensure company maintains a safe and healthy work environment for all employees
  • Ordering and stocking laboratory supplies and reagents, and working with internal accounts payable and procurement departments and external vendors on payments for such supplies


What you will bring to the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline
  • At least 3 years experience working in a biological laboratory environment


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in biological sciences
  • Experience managing some aspect of a biological research lab in an academic or industrial setting
