The opportunity

Join Teva’s Europe Commercial HQ Legal team and play a central role in supporting strategic initiatives across our Specialty Medicines portfolio (excluding IP). You’ll partner closely with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and global legal colleagues to provide high-impact legal guidance, drive compliance, and enable innovative commercial activities across the European region.

About the role

As Associate Director Legal Ix, you will:

  • Work in close collaboration with the GC EU Commercial Ix on a variety of regional legal matters relating to key products & therapeutic areas in the Specialty Medicines (excluding intellectual property)
  • Give advisory and commercial contracting support to the European designated Commercial, Medical, Digital, Portfolio and other Ix operational teams on all contemplated activities
  • Have a central role, closely working with aforementioned teams as well as other legal counsels in the Global and EU Legal teams
  • Draft, review, and negotiate diverse commercial agreements (including service agreements, advertising agency agreements, market research agreements, grants & donations, etc.)
  • Provide legal input on digital marketing, social media, and digital device projects
  • Support compliance with EU laws, industry codes, and Teva policies
  • Coordinate pan-European projects, policies, and forums
  • Identify legal risks, implement mitigation strategies, and deliver training
  • Contribute to internal investigations, litigation management, and best practice development

Your experience and qualifications

  • Law degree and preferably bar admittance in an EU jurisdiction
  • 8+ years’ legal experience in-house or in a top-tier law firm, with EU legal expertise (regional experience a plus)
  • European jurisdiction law experience, regional experience is a plus
  • Solid knowledge of the innovative pharmaceutical or biotech industry and its dynamic and customer needs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple high-volume projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and business-oriented legal advice skills
  • Fluency in English (additional European languages are a plus)
  • Willingness to travel within the EU, including to Haarlem
