The Financial Controller is responsible for sales and cost of goods reporting, planning and analysis,  coordinates business reviews preparation process, acting as Finance Business Partner for one Business Unit.

 

The position requires knowledge of accounting or relevant experience in controlling, audit, business advisory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Correctness and timely reporting of actuals and plans to local and corporate financial systems.
  • Proposing effective mechanism.
  • Providing advice in controlling of the budgets of each department, takes part in creation of these budgets.
  • Proposes structure of accountancy dimensions for ERP and budgeting purposes.
  • Supporting optimization of costs and investments.
  • Checks adjustments and accruals and correctness of charging.
  • Ad-hoc analyses for company management and other employees.
  • Participate in Finance related projects.
  • Responsible for monthly gross profit end-to-end analysis for P&L and BS purposes.
Required experience
  • University Degree in Economics  or Finance
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, proficient knowledge of other MS Office (Word, Access) is a must
  • Knowledge of accounting – financial statements, basic differences among local and international accounting standards (US GAAP)
  • Relevant experience  in Accounting, Controlling, Audit, Business Advisory in an international company is an advantage
  • Knowledge and practical experience of SAP, Oracle, Hyperion Planning, HFM is an advantage
  • Communicative knowledge of English AND Czech language  (oral as well as written)
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills, logical, analytical thinking
  • Time management skills and adherence to deadlines
