Job Description

Position Summary

This role in concert with segment leaders and global OpEx, establishes operational and financial performance targets, align resources, identify and build required capabilities, engage and energize site teams, and integrate appropriate governance and change management processes to achieve overall segment Long Range Plan (LRP) and Annual Operating Plan (AOP).

Key Responsibilities

Leading the development and execution of OpEx strategy to deliver LRP and AOP performance goals

  • Leads process to conduct site OpEx maturity (stage gate) assessments, set target maturity level, identify required capabilities and initiatives, develop and execute plan, and integrate appropriate governance to track progress and achieve operational and/or financial performance targets
  • Provides appropriate communications including periodic performance updates to key stakeholders
  • Leads problem solving and co-owns accountability for attainment of performance targets

Building appropriate OpEx organization and capabilities to deliver performance objectives

  • Identifies and closes gaps in OpEx organizational strength – people and other resources
  • Identifies and closes skill gaps including upgrading and delivery of Teva Production System standards
  • Develops and implements processes to engage and energize site teams including intra and inter-segment sharing of best practices and rewards and recognition program

Supporting segment and global implementation of OpEx

  • Provides problem solving support to project teams and leads special segment and global initiatives as needed
Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related engineering/technical or scientific discipline preferred
  • MBA or relevant Masters - desirable
  • Master Black Belt (MBB) or Black Belt (BB) certification is desirable but not required

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of recent experience leading multi-site improvement in manufacturing and/or process environments (e.g., Pharmaceutical/API, Consumer Products, Chemicals, and Medical Device) strongly preferred. Consulting firm experience is desirable.
  • Minimum 5 years prior operations experience in Production, SCM, Engineering or other
  • Strong communications, project management, training facilitation, and change management skills
  • Fluency in English, excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Must be able to travel a minimum of 60% globally (Primarily NA and Europe)
  • Location and Reporting: Position may be based in Israel, Europe or US and reports to VP, Global OpEx
