Job Description

Define & maintain a long term strategy for the api networks as a whole. Build and maintain a long term strategy for each individual site

General duties and responsibilities

  • Work with pillar leadership to define the design principals for the api Network (Capacity & technology siting, product allocation framework)
  • Support pillar and site functions in the development of long range site plans through clear communication of site strategy, portfolio requirements & network assumptions. Work with global, pillar & site functions to facilitate identification of key initiatives & capabilities required to execute the site plan.
  • Build and implement Governance Processes for the execution and maintenance of the agreed strategy
  • Prepare analysis and recommendations on strategic topics to support discussion & decision making by Senior Management
  • Active Member of GNPS leadership team

Additional special project assignments may be a frequent component of the job

Qualifications
  • Education Required: Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain/Engineering/Science or equivalent
  • Education Preferred: MBA or relevant MS degree
  • Experience Required: 15+ years total experience, 10+ years experience in the production of pharmaceutical products. API operations experience preferred
  • Experience working in a global environment, leading complex, cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and act tactically. Proven leadership capabilities strong interpersonal skills including cross-functional teamwork, effective written and oral communication skills, advanced project management skills, strong multi-cultural skills, high energy levels, and a bias towards action.
  • Ability to craft and deliver communication, influence audiences, and lead change management both internally and externally.
  • Strong conceptual/analytical quantitative skills
  • Ability to lead and influence without authority
  • Ability to work independently
  • MS office skills (e.g., excel and power point)
