The opportunity
The Strategy Office Coordinator is a critical contributor to the Strategy Office’s success. The person primarily supports the Head of the Strategy Office (SVP) and 3 team members (Senior Directors) and will manage the executive calendar, expense reports and travel coordination of the Strategy Office SVP and SVP of Global Corporate Affairs.
This position is responsible for supporting the team in preparation of reports, presentations, and meetings through analysis, desk research and proactive interactions with internal experts, as well as coordinating internal and external meetings.
How you’ll spend your day
- Gather information on various, broad-ranging topics to support the team in developing points-of-view and executive presentations.
- Support analysis on trends, new events, data and creating insights.
- Proofread and enhance PowerPoint presentations for clarity, impact, and visual appeal.
- Support in project management of large engagements.
- Suggest meeting agendas, creating short summaries of key meetings and following up with others on certain action items.
- Create written content for internal and external social media posts. Support the team with their LinkedIn presence.
- Back up local support for posting on external sites and internal engagement systems.
- Executive mailbox management for announcements, special events, etc.
- Manage executives’ calendar and coordinated internal and external meetings.
- Executive travel arrangements and expense reporting, and approvals for team members.
- General administrative support for assigned SVPs and their direct reports (as necessary), including scheduling meetings, reporting requirements, etc.
- Support the general administrative duties for the team, including managing conference room scheduling, ordering materials, office supplies, and office visitors.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
Your experience and qualifications
- HS Diploma is required. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, communications, marketing, organizational psychology, finance, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in coordination, project management, or administrative support role for senior executives in a corporate setting is required.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Experience and comfort in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to multitask, work and navigate with changing priorities, and prioritize accordingly
- Strong problem-solving and excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- High proficiency in Microsoft tools (PowerPoint, Excel), Digital Tools (M365 Copilot)
- Digital experience leading content on social media platforms
- Basic knowledge of teleconference and videoconference services
- Excellent organization and detail oriented
- Excellent interpersonal skills and client oriented
- Must maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion
Travel Requirements: Minimal travel is expected.
Compensation Data
The annual starting salary for this position is between $83,000 – $108,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
