Job Description

This position is part of the Global Travel & Meetings team and works closely with the preferred service providers and Teva stakeholders as well as other members of the Global Travel and Meetings team. Close collaboration with Compliance, Finance and IT departments supporting Global Travel & Meetings for all countries. The position interacts directly with 3rd party preferred service providers and internal stakeholders and will provide insight and provide strategic recommendations and support in the following areas:


  • Teva Regional Travel (transient and group) program
  • Stakeholder engagement & Communication
  • Data Reporting
  • Global Travel Policy and Procedures
  • Process Optimization
  • Project Management for Travel & Meetings initiatives



•    Oversee the development of Regional and/or Global Travel (transient and group)  operational strategy, management, governance and implementation of all Travel  program activities and procedures
•    Manage project lifecycles from designing solutions, testing, implementing, and change management activities including communicating and training end-users for travel category related initiatives
•    Provide strategic direction and guidance to our supplier partners both internal (Finance, Global security, IT' Global Mobility ,Insurance etc.) and external (OBT, TMC’s etc.) on optimizing the business process and suite of tools that support Global Travel & Meeting areas
•    Work with external suppliers’ account and operational management teams on future product enhancements, major developments in the industry and supplier relationship management for operational items
•    Ability to interpret data  - whilst most data will be produced elsewhere, this roleshould be an expert in how to interpret and analyse Travel (transient and group)data and related achieved/missed business opportunities (e.g. missed savings, process optimization) and provide meaningful insights for Teva’s stakeholders.  Drive demand management savings opportunities through change management efforts. 
•    Interact and provide guidance to stakeholders and local Travel & Meeting focal points on the Travel & Meetings policy and strategy with a key focus on customer service interaction.
•    Manage Travel program communication 
•    Provide guidance on Process Standardization and Optimization
•    Manages and executes projects and process improvement initiatives including the development of project scope, plans, resources, milestones, and deliverables. Ensures effective communication and sets expectations with internal customers, tracks project timelines and milestones to ensure timely project conclusion and resolves issues that hinder project success.  
•    Must be flexible to work on other team projects upon request


•    Bachelor's degree required
•    5+ years’ experience managing global Travel (transient and group) processes and regional strategy. 
•    Demonstrated experience working in a cross functional team required
•    Ability to work across a global team and flexibility to accommodate global time requirements
•    Strong knowledge of travel systems, operations and tools, process management. 
•    Project Management skills,  ability to manage multiple projects, deliverables, and deadlines
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•    Fluent in English and preferably a second language (Spanish and/or Portuguese preferred)
•    Must be organized, thorough, detail oriented and able to work independently
•    Strong focus on improvement opportunities (process optimization)
•    Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills   
•    Proven track record in Travel Management (preferred in a global company and/or pharmaceutical company Understanding of Travel Management Company Integration (Back, Mid, Front Office and Agent Interfacing Tools) is a plus
•    Global Travel Professional (GTP) Certification preferable
•    Project Management Certification preferable
•    Pharmaceutical Industry Experience is preferred
