Job Description

Under general supervision, the HR Data Governance Analyst serves as a subject matter expert on HR Data, Reporting and HR Systems. This role handles inquiries, requests, and cases regarding HR Data and Systems to closure, while appropriately escalating complex cases. The HR Data Governance Analyst is responsible for maintaining the integrity of data in multiple HR systems and for fulfilling data report and change requests from customers.  This position provides outstanding customer service to all customers.  Key customers for this role will be HR Business Partners, Finance, IT as well as other HR colleagues and business leaders.  Works with general supervision / guidance and is accountable for individual results and impact on team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:                                                                                                        

  1. Provides accurate, consistent and timely responses to Data, Reporting and HR Systems inquiries, which are considered to be of moderate complexity and may require moderate to significant research and analysis.
  2. Participates as subject matter expert in system implementations, enhancements, or troubleshooting activities.
  3. Drives projects and process improvement activities relating to HR systems and data processes.
  4. Delivers scheduled reports on a regular basis, as defined by the agreed reporting calendar, and delivers unscheduled and custom reports as requested.
  5. Supports HR Systems and system testing activities as required.
  6. Ensures that HR data is sent and received accurately and timely by local and global HR systems.
  7. Analyzes employee and contingent worker data to ensure that headcount data is accurately tracked and reported on a regular basis.
  8. Researches and reviews complex inquiries and issues escalated from tier 1 reps and Data Governance Specialists mainly related to HR Data, Reporting, and HR Systems.
  9. Audits HR systems to ensure data aligns with company policy and complies with employment data regulations
  10. Reviews procedures relating to data collection, entry, reporting and interfaces to identify areas where efficiency can be increased; develops and enacts improvement plans.
  11. Receives, manages and tracks requests through to either closure or escalation, ensuring all necessary updates in the case management tool.
  12. Meets key performance measures and delivers all reports and services according to agreed HR Shared Service SLAs.
  13. Supports and educates employees on company processes, HR systems and tools (e.g., HRIS, Hire-to-Retire Process, ESS, MSS, Intranet) and suggests additional resources to encourage customers to resolve questions on their own when feasible and help ensure future positive outcomes for all stakeholders.  Critical resource for supporting current and future HRIS.
  14. Works in collaboration with other team members to establish and maintain a confidential and sensitive work environment, focusing on customer service by handling all customer requests in a professional manner.
  15. Performs various HR tasks/projects as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business, or IT.
  2. 3-5 Years of experience in HR Systems and HR Data Management.
  3. Previous knowledge of HR Data Management, Reporting and HR Systems practices.  Experience with HR systems such as ADP Enterprise, SAP/SuccessFactors and Reporting systems such as ReportSmith, ADP Reporting and/or SuccessFactors reporting.
  4. Strong analytical and problem solving skills including the ability to see trends and patterns in data and interpret meaning.
  5. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  6. Familiarity with complex organizational structures and cost of labor financial elements.
  7. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  8. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize while working in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  10. Strong computer skills in order to operate effectively with company systems and programs; proficient to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  11. Ability to work independently and in a team setting using established processes.
