Job Description

The role of Senior Marketing Manager, Movement Disorders is to serve as the voice for patients and care-partners as we listen to, challenge and guide brand teams on building and growing successful consumer relationships. The Senior Marketing Manager will evaluate market conditions, identify issues and opportunities within the movement disorder category, develop strategies and work with cross-functional partners to create and implement tactics aligned with the brand strategies and objectives. The Senior Manager works with a cross-functional team of internal Teva colleagues and agency partners to develop a multi-channel approach to increasing general awareness and drive consumer preference.

ESSENTIAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY 

  • Implements strategic and operational brand plans in the consumer space
  • Plans and develops tactics aligned with predefined strategies and establishes timelines and budgets with minimal oversight
  • Works with agency partners to create, develop and implement tactical plans and provides input on strategy and direction of the brand
  • Build and revise the patient/care-partner journey, and align tactics to address different stages of the journey   
  • Analyzes market data and information and makes informed decisions

  • Excellence in Execution: Meets objectives and deadlines, promotes efficiency and effectiveness, incorporates improvement and program ROI
  • Analysis: Compiles relevant data from appropriate sources and performs analysis for the department; Synthesizes complex and diverse information, recognizes trends and/or interrelationships
     

Qualifications

Education/Certification/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of pharmaceutical experience or relevant brand management experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of consumer marketing experience or equivalent (based on performance), pharmaceutical experience outside of marketing function.  Experience in migraine and/or CNS therapeutic area

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Experience working with teams to develop brand strategy and core messaging
  • Experience in customer relationship marketing (CRM), digital marketing, and social media
  • Experience working with legal and compliance teams
  • Experience managing multiple agency partners
  • Exercises independent judgement in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results, experience with primary and secondary market research
  • Strong interpersonal communication and influencing skills for internal and external cross functional alignment

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Approximately 25%  domestic travel throughout the US.
